Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Surat on 16th April. It was a two-day visit. He inaugurated several projects including Kiran Multi Super Speciality Hospital and Research Centre there on 17th April in the early morning. Then, he visited Ichhapur district and Tapi district for inaugurating several projects.
PM Modi addressed a public gathering of more than 4 lakh people in Gujarat. It is his second visit to the state in 2017. He visited Gandhinagar on International Women’s day.

Prior to his visit, PM Modi twitted, “My gratitude to all those who are participating in the various programs. Visiting the vibrant city of Surat is a matter of great joy.”
